Our friend Ann Hatch has been in the Bay Area for 30+ years creating and running arts organizations such as Capp St. Project, Oxbow School, and Workshop Residence. She has now turned her talent to functional ceramics. She started making bespoke barnyard chicken plates in 1991, and has now produced hundreds of dog and cat plates. As Ann says, “their personalities are so charming, and i love to capture that. I hope they enjoy seeing themselves after dinner!”
